Don’t just hope Google indexes your site. Adding a new domain to Google Webmaster Tools is easy, and setting up a Sitemap is not only beneficial, but necessary. Understanding how the Google search works is greatly valuable to increasing your traffic. Improving the quality of your site, ensuring your Sitemap is working, and content building are key. Trying to get around Google – aka. "black-hat seo" is bad, it might get your site dropped completely from Google, and will probably result in reduced traffic since your taking attention away from the things that really matter. The truth about traffic monitoring is that it’s not as valuable as most people will want you to believe. Yes, that’s right. You should keep an eye on it, but don’t pay more than 5 minutes of attention to it each month.
